Our lab, located on the 8th floor of Latimer Hall houses a range of scientific instrumentation, including: a Park Systems NX10 AFM-SECM-SECCM, a Quantum Design 12 tesla Dynacool PPMS, three gloveboxes enclosing optical microscopes and custom-built 2D micromanipulation tools, a probe station, several box and tube furnaces for solid state synthesis, thin-film CVD and bulk crystal growth, as well as a host of standard equipment for wet chemical synthesis and electrochemistry.
